Bloodline (TV series)
''Bloodline'' is an American Netflix original thriller–drama television series created by Todd A. Kessler, Glenn Kessler, and Daniel Zelman, and produced by Sony Pictures Television. The series premiered on February 9, 2015, in the Berlinale Special Galas section of the 65th Berlin International Film Festival,〔 and the 13-episode first season premiered in its entirety, on Netflix, on March 20, 2015.〔
The first season received strong reviews from many critics, with some naming ''Bloodline'' the best Netflix original series when it debuted and praising its performances (particularly for Kyle Chandler, Ben Mendelsohn, and Sissy Spacek), writing, cinematography, and directing. On March 31, 2015, ''Bloodline'' was officially renewed for a second season to debut in 2016.
==Premise==
The series focuses on the lives of the Rayburn family, who owns and runs a beachside hotel in the Florida Keys. When the oldest son and black sheep of the family, Danny, returns home for his parents' celebration of their 45th year running Rayburn House and the scheduled dedication of a pier in their name, he quickly causes turmoil amongst the clan, who have a dark past. When Danny gets caught up in the criminal world, he threatens to bring down his entire family and their legacy.
